This piece is a "mini" portrait if you will. The small canvas I chose was a challenge to see if I could achieve the same level of detail in a smaller size! And I think it's safe to say I did that.
I love the unique angle that I captured Ex at and the western style tack that gives this piece a very unique feel to my other works. Playing with colour, pattern and design was a lot of fun working on this painting!
