This classic style portrait with a golden twist is of a clouded leopard, one of the most beautiful of the large cats and will be a powerful and elegant edition to any space. I've always had a love and fascination with large cats and the clouded leopard has one of the most unique patterns making it a joy to paint.
Done in acrylic, I added the final touch with gold leaf surrounding the frame and coming onto the main canvas around the corners and edges to hold the clouded leopard in regal light and warmth: Gilded Leopard. The gold leaf adds a lovely detail that brings a glow and adds a dynamic element which can only truly be appreciated in person.
With this painting being done on a Gallery Wrapped style canvas it means the canvas is 1.5" thick. With the "Gilded" sides I recommend hanging as is.
