Performance

If you're a horse lover like I am, (which if you've found your way here my bet is that you are) then you know what I mean when I say being an equestrian lights my soul on fire.

Doing something every day that I have such love for is incredible. So many people go much of their life not finding something like that. So, I count myself incredibly lucky to have found my something so young.

That love, that drive has lead me to so many interesting places and experiences and I can't wait to continue this journey!

Passion

The past several years I've had the absolute pleasure of training with some of the best riders and coaches in Canada.

In my main discipline of Show Jumping I train with Chris Delia, Olympian and Pro-Rider.  By riding and shadowing Chris I've learnt the technical aspects of Showjumping through his meticulous and detail oriented instruction.

Flat work has always been fundamental to me so I'm very fortunate to be able to train with Lynsey Rowan, Pro-Dressage Rider.  An incredible part of Belinda Trussell's Dressage team, Lynsey takes the concepts of balance, pace, and mastery to a whole new level through her riding, training and coaching.

Quality

I've spent my entire equestrian career working towards the elite equestrian athlete mindset.

This meant studying and analyzing the greats. The Eric Lamazes', the Beezie Madden's, the Philippaerts', the Nick Skelton's.

For many years I wasn't able to have lessons but, I had my horse Stella and, well,  the internet is an amazing thing. When people asked "how did you learn to do that" when I began training the horses I rode how to do a shoulder fore my response was always the same " YouTube University".

I read (and continue to read) books on sports psychology to work on my mindset in the saddle and out of it.

There's not many aspects of my life that my devotion to my growth as an equestrian doesn't touch and I wouldn't have it any other way.
