Tír na nÓg

The majestic beast himself!

Tír na nÓg  is his registered/show name but around the barn he's affectionately known as "Noggin".

Owned and bred by Mackenzie Fairbairn who has, for many years, trusted me with her baby. Literally, she bred him, was there at his birth and had him ever since. So, I deeply value the trust she's had in me as his rider.

Born on Saint Patrick's Day 2010, Noggin is a Belgian x Rocky Mountain Horse which leads to his extraordinarily (and legendary)  unique chocolate colour with a flaxen mane and tail.

I began riding Noggin back in 2015 and Mackenzie has been amazing! Her trust has allowed me grow as a rider and trainer with Noggin as my partner in the ring. He's the horse I took to my very first show, the horse that I began training with my incredible coaches and I truly wouldn't be where I am today without Noggin and Mackenzie. They've both taught me SO MUCH!

Noggin's never been an "easy" ride and has truly transformed me as a rider because of that! He's got a lot of personality with a cheeky  side too.  But Noggin will always give you his absolute all and is never not happy to go to work!

You want to know what horse has leveled up my riding to where it is today? This is the guy right here!
